Refund Policy
At FAB, all welding and fabrication work is custom-made, labor-intensive, and often based on materials purchased specifically for each project. For this reason, all sales are final, except in the limited circumstances described below.
This Refund Policy is designed to protect the time, materials, and labor investment required for professional welding services.
1. General Policy – All Sales Are Final
Because welding and fabrication services involve custom work, FAB does not offer refunds on:
-
Labor already performed
-
Custom fabrication projects
-
Special orders or custom-cut materials
-
Design, consultation, or inspection fees
-
Deposits or down payments
All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
2. Deposits Are Non-Refundable
To begin any project, FAB may require a deposit.
All deposits are strictly non-refundable, regardless of project cancellation, customer changes, or delays caused by the customer.
This covers:
-
Scheduling time
-
Labor allocation
-
Material reservations
-
Lost business opportunities
3. Material Purchases Are Non-Refundable
Once materials are ordered, cut, modified, or used in any way, they cannot be returned and therefore are non-refundable.
If a customer cancels a project after materials have been purchased, the customer is still responsible for:
-
The full cost of materials
-
Any restocking fees (if applicable)
-
Any labor performed up to the cancellation
4. Refunds for Workmanship Issues (Limited)
FAB stands behind the quality of its work. In the rare event of an issue caused by workmanship (not customer design or usage), FAB may, at its sole discretion, offer one of the following:
-
A repair of the issue
-
A rework of the affected area
-
A partial credit toward future services
Refunds will not be issued.
Repairs will only be made if the customer notifies FAB within [Insert Timeframe – e.g., 7 or 14 days] of completion.
5. No Refunds for:
-
Customer-provided measurements or designs that are incorrect
-
Misuse, improper installation, or alterations by the customer
-
Damage caused by weather, environment, or normal wear and tear
-
Changes in customer preference after the work has started
-
Delays outside FAB’s control (supplier delays, weather, jobsite issues, etc.)
6. Cancellations
If the customer cancels a project:
-
All deposits are forfeited
-
Labor performed to date must be paid in full
-
Materials purchased for the project must be paid in full
No refund or credit will be issued.
7. Fabrication, Custom Orders, and Special Projects
Custom fabrication and specialty welding projects are not eligible for:
-
Refunds
-
Returns
-
Exchanges
These items are made specifically to customer request and cannot be resold.
8. Completion Approval
Once a customer signs off on or accepts completed work (including verbal acceptance or taking possession), FAB is no longer responsible for:
-
Modifications requested later
-
Issues caused by installation, transport, or misuse
No refunds or rework will be provided after acceptance unless covered under workmanship review (Section 4).
9. Right to Refuse Service
FAB reserves the right to refuse service, issue credits, or adjust policies at its sole discretion.
